Chapter 424 Aliens in the Pigsty

Chapter 424 Aliens in the Pigsty

"I wonder how the other three are doing now," the fat man muttered to himself.

By 9:30 p.m., Gu Mian and the others had already returned to the city center.

They were in a shopping mall that was about to close, crammed into a small fitting room to avoid other people.

The fat man was so big that he was almost squeezed to the very edge, his face pressed against the door and nearly deformed.

The fat man was listening intently to the footsteps coming and going outside, the sounds of mall staff leaving get off work; considering that the cleaning lady might go to the restroom to check if anyone was still there before the mall closed, Gu Mian and the others hid in a fitting room in an abandoned shop.

The fat man dared not breathe too loudly; he squeezed out a small voice from his throat: "Brother Chu, why are we hiding in this place?"

Chu Changge squeezed into another corner, his feet almost off the ground: "There's no one here after get off work, so the risk of being caught by the police is greatly reduced, making it easier to do things... We need to be discovered by ghosts, since everyone knows that quiet and dark places are the best places for ghosts to appear."

Upon hearing this, the fat man's eyes widened in the cramped fitting room: "We were discovered by a ghost? You mean after everyone leaves tonight, the six of us will split up and hide here to lure the ghost?"

Chu Changge, squeezed to the edge, spoke without changing his expression: "Although the ghost in this instance is somewhat out of control, it seems to have a particular fondness for the player's body. Mr. Green said that it will not miss any opportunity to kill the player, and it may be trying to use the player's body to escape the instance."

Xiao Qiao, with a chainsaw hanging around her neck, nodded righteously.

Gu Mian was racking her brains trying to get the bag off her neck.

The fat man was still pressed against the fitting room partition door: "But even if we separate here in the mall, the doctor is very close to us. Even if the ghost knows we're back, it might not come, right?"

Chu Changge shook his head, making it particularly difficult to shake his head in the crowded fitting room: "So we can't let the ghost know that Gu Mian is here. We need to send out bait to lure the ghost to this place; and this time the players are a little different. There are two professional players. Although we can't touch the doctor player, there is also a fortune teller. Perhaps the ghost thinks that wearing the corpse of a professional player will bring some changes."

The fortune teller struggled to turn his head towards Chu Changge in the cramped fitting room: "What did you say?"

"I said that fortune tellers are excellent tools for luring the enemy," Chu Changge repeated knowingly.

At this moment, Gu Mian was looking at the two of them. If it weren't for Liu Ruyan standing between them, the fortune teller would have already wrapped his arms around Chu Changge's neck and strangled him to death.

Chu Changge completely ignored the fortune teller's restless hands. He pulled one hand out of the crowded throng to push up his glasses: "Let me tell you my plan. It's 9:30 now, and there are still people coming and going outside the mall. If we're outside and someone notices there's a ghost, they'll definitely call the police..."

The fortune teller suddenly asked, "Does anyone really call the police saying they've discovered a ghost?"

“Of course,” the fat man said skillfully. “Back then, I was in and out of the police station often. The police officers there told me that they often received bizarre reports, such as an alien falling down and walking around in the pigsty east of my house, or a female ghost suddenly crawling out from under Old Wang’s bed next door.”

The fortune teller was completely baffled: "What on earth is all this stuff?"

Before the topic drifted further, Chu Changge spoke up in time: "So we need to send out bait to lure the enemy, and we need to bring the ghost in so that we can act in a place where there are no people."

The fat man had some doubts: "Putting everything else aside, the mall doors should be locked by now, right? And there are still quite a few people outside even at night. If you just take a saw and cut open the mall's security door, we'll probably all be going to jail tonight."

“I looked at the fire safety map of this mall when I came in,” Chu Changge pushed up his glasses. “When this mall receives goods, they are transported directly to the warehouse. There’s a door in the warehouse that leads directly into and out of the mall, and the entrance there is quite secluded, so we can do whatever we want.” By this time, all the sounds outside had disappeared, so it seemed everyone had left.

Shortly after the sound disappeared, the lights above their heads suddenly went out, plunging the entire fitting room into darkness.

Chu Changge took out the flashlight he had prepared beforehand and turned it on: "It seems they have all left. We can go out and find the warehouse now."

The fat man, who had been squeezed for a long time, immediately turned the doorknob of the fitting room and rushed out of the cramped space.

Gu Mian followed and stepped out.

Xiao Qiao, with her chainsaw hanging from her neck, followed closely behind, and Gu Mian was finally able to reach out and take the guitar bag off her neck.

Then Chu Changge and the fortune teller came out from behind.

Using flashlights, they quickly located the warehouse on the first floor. When they found the warehouse, Chu Changge was still talking about his plan: "We don't know where the ghost is, but it's very likely that it's near where we live. We might find something if we wander around the coffee shop area."

The fortune teller pointed to himself and asked, "Are you talking to me?"

“That’s right.” Chu Changge nodded.

The fortune teller said with a bitter expression, "My life is so miserable. I shouldn't have entered any dungeons at this time... Being chased by ghosts before is one thing, but seducing ghosts is something I've never heard of or seen before."

Gu Mian had already entered the warehouse with a flashlight. There were quite a few shelves in the warehouse. He shone the flashlight around and said, "I'll just hide here and catch the ghost?"

“No,” Chu Changge shook his head, “It’s too close to the exit here. You could easily run out. If someone saw a doctor chasing someone with a chainsaw on the street, it would definitely cause a commotion.”

At this point, Chu Changge had already reached the warehouse gate.

With Gu Mian's help, the heavy door was quickly opened.
It was indeed a secluded road outside, without a single person in sight.

Chu Changge stood in front of the door, adjusting his glasses: "It's not safe for a fortune teller to go out alone. I'm going with her, and Fatty too."

The fat guy, who was lost in thought, was suddenly called out: "Huh, me?"

“Okay,” Chu Changge nodded and then looked at Xiao Qiao, “Give the phone to Gu Mian so we can contact him.”

Xiao Qiao hummed in agreement and took a pink cell phone out of her pocket.

“We’ll try our best to lure the ghost this way, but of course we might not succeed,” Chu Changge said, standing at the door. “If we don’t come back tonight, then we’ve died on the way…”

"Don't make it sound so scary!" The fortune teller touched his hairy arm.
