Chapter 179 Police Intervention
Tenji was stunned when he saw the French girl rushing towards him.

In the instant he was stunned, Jian kicked him in the chest with a loud thud!
"Don't come any closer! Get away!"

Jane kicked them, which prevented them from colliding.

Tens of thousands of car parts flowed past each other, gleaming silver components whizzing by. Once the last screw had passed through, the parts swiftly assembled into two sports cars, which drove off back-to-back!
"Awesome!" Jane exclaimed. "That was such a cool move!"

Once the car was put back together, Hua Sheng and Mie Ying quickly got back into the car.

While fastening his seatbelt, Hanamori said, "You're quite impressive to be able to kick the Celestial Pole!"

Mieying, however, shouted dismissively, "Of course she has to kick! Otherwise, kicking a girl would be seen as throwing herself into someone's arms!"

Jane glanced in the rearview mirror and saw that the blue Bugatti had already returned to normal, turning around on the spot after a puff of tire smoke.

However, the car remained stationary!

Jane drove a few hundred meters ahead, and when she looked behind her, the car was still standing still and did not immediately chase after them.

She asked in confusion, "Why aren't they chasing? Did they break down?"

Mieying turned around to confirm: "It really is. Why did you stop chasing after me after I kicked you? Were you scared of this she-devil?"

Hua Sheng revealed a sly smile and wiped the gasoline off his face from when he traveled through time.

"They'll be delayed for a while!"

"That car just fell apart, and I pulled out their car keys as I walked through it!"

The Ferrari sped along the road, and the cars behind it stopped catching up for the time being. After a short distance, it reached a sheltered harbor by the sea.

The harbor is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on the other. The docks in the harbor are full of all kinds of private luxury yachts.

As the sea breeze blows, nearly a hundred yachts of various colors rise and fall gently on the water, making the port seem like a luxury yacht exhibition.

Mieying peered down the mountain path and asked, "Where is this?"

"I think it should be the Principality of Monaco!"

Jane added, "A small country with only two square kilometers!"

Before she could finish speaking, Jian suddenly slammed on the brakes!
With a sharp mechanical braking sound, violent jolts from the electronic braking system, and rapid tightening of the intelligent active seatbelts, the Ferrari's brake discs overheated and quickly turned bright red.

After a violent jolt at the rear of the car, leaving a 30-meter-long black tire track on the ground, the vehicle finally came to a stop.

The air immediately filled with the burnt smell of tire rubber and car brake pads.

Sitting in the back seat, Mieying complained irritably, "The seatbelt is killing me! Why did you suddenly stop while driving?"

Jane's eyes remained fixed straight ahead as she whispered, "There are police!"

Hua Sheng quickly looked ahead and realized that the vehicle had already driven close to downtown Monaco.

The road sign next to it reads "Monte Carlo".

Monte Carlo?

He looked ahead again and saw that the middle of the road was completely blocked by two police cars. Behind the police cars stood a row of police officers in uniform, several of whom were holding guns, the muzzles of which were pointed directly at the Ferrari he was in.

Two police officers, guns drawn, slowly approached them, shouting as they went, "Police! Get out of the car!"

Jane stared at the approaching, dark muzzle of the gun and muttered, "Oh no! This is dangerous!" Mie Ying, sitting in the back, leaned closer and asked, puzzled, "Is this the legendary pistol? I've heard of firearms, but what danger could such an old-fashioned weapon pose to us?"

“No, I mean these police officers might be in danger!” Jane shook her head. “We have to avoid causing casualties.”

Hua Sheng immediately said, "How about we go a little easier on each of us?"

"I'm getting out of the car. You all stay inside!"

"Even a slight touch would constitute assaulting a police officer. Don't you dare kill someone!"

"Well, I have a sense of propriety."

Hua Sheng thought for a moment: Jian didn't have a driver's license, and none of the three of them were minors. Wouldn't it be more troublesome if she got out of the car now?
Just as he was about to stop her, he saw Jian push open the car door without turning her head. When the car door opened, she had transformed into an old woman with a full head of white hair and a face full of wrinkles.

The old lady looked to be at least ninety years old. Not only was she trembling all over, but it seemed as if she would be blown into the sea the moment her feet touched the ground.

She walked forward unsteadily, raising her hands as she went, saying, "I'm sorry, sir. I'm just an old woman."

The two Monaco police officers were quite surprised to see an elderly woman, almost half-buried in the ground, step out of a brand-new Ferrari, and had no choice but to put their pistols away.

One of the officers said, "Lady, you are exceeding the speed limit. We must see your driver's license."

Jane nodded and slowly walked back to the car.

She stuck her head into the car and said to Hana, "They want to see my driver's license!"

Hua Sheng frowned and said, "I've never even seen what a French driver's license looks like, how can I change it for you?"

"It's under my seat, feel around!"

Hua Sheng reached under the seat and groped around for a while before pulling out a banana that he had eaten halfway through the journey.

Upon seeing this, Jane exclaimed, "Tear off a piece of skin!"

Hua Sheng let out a soft "Ah!"

Mie Ying reacted quickly, saying, "Idiot! She told you to tear off a banana peel, and she can conjure up a driver's license!"

Hua Sheng then hurriedly tore off a piece of banana peel.

Jane took the banana peel, muttered a spell, and forcefully tore it apart. The peel stretched wider and wider until it actually turned into a driver's license!
Jane rubbed it in her hands and muttered to herself, "It's still a bit sticky, but it should be passable. I told you I have Alzheimer's and that it's my drool on it."

She then turned to the police officer and said, "Excuse me, officer. My driver's license is a little dirty. Sorry! So sorry!"

The two police officers took the driver's license, showing disgust at the sticky liquid on it, and then said, "You are in serious violation of traffic regulations. We have to fine you."

Hua Sheng, completely bewildered inside the car, stuck her head out and asked, "What's going on? Can you handle it?"

Jane turned around and said, "Don't worry! Just... oh, it's just a fine."

When the two police officers saw two Asian children with completely different skin colors inside the car, they asked, "Who are they?"

Jane answered in a trembling voice, "My grandchildren."

The policeman looked even more surprised, craned his neck to look behind the car, pointed, and asked again, "Then that's your son behind you?"

Jane turned to the Ferrari and shouted, "Didn't I tell you to stay in the car and not get out? What are you doing...?"

He stopped abruptly halfway through his sentence, realizing that Hua Sheng and Mie Ying were both perfectly fine sitting in the car.

The people the police mentioned behind him were none other than Lü Dongbin and Tianjizi, who had been chasing him earlier!

Jian cried out and pointed behind the car. Hua Sheng quickly peeked out of the car and immediately saw Lü Dongbin and Tianjizi rushing towards them with long swords in their hands!

When the police saw someone carrying a weapon, they immediately raised their guns and shouted, "Put down your weapons!"

Then came the clatter of gunfire!

A series of rapid-fire gunshots rang out in downtown Monte Carlo!
