Chapter 130 The sorting ceremony seems to be the same, just.
But anyone who dared to underestimate Flitwick because of his stature would definitely suffer a big loss.

He was a Hogwarts fighting champion when he was young, and his combat effectiveness is considered one of the best among many professors.

"Hera, I suddenly feel that Severus's smile is not so ugly." Flitwick swore to Hera, stretching out his index finger.

Hera smiled and didn't express his opinion. He could naturally hear the sarcasm in Professor Flitwick's tone. Obviously, he didn't like Gilderoy Lockhart very much.

After all, no one had ever seen Snape laugh.

If Harry was expelled from Hogwarts, Hera guessed he might see a long-lost (never?) smile on Snape's face.

While Lockhart was trying to establish a good relationship with the professors, Professor Flitwick jumped off his seat, went to the corner and picked up the sorting hat and a triangular stool that were placed there.

Hera just sat in his seat with a lifeless face, not caring about what Lockhart did.But he was still a little irritable, after all Lockhart was just a sparrow, making noise all the time.

If today hadn't been the opening ceremony, he would have punched Lockhart in the face and gone back to his office.

"Hera, shall we go to welcome the new students together?" Flitwick shook his head and extended an invitation to Hera.

"Oh, I think this is really the best." Hera readily agreed, and he reached out to take the sorting hat and triangular stool from Flitwick's hand.

"Thank you, Hera, you really helped me a lot." Flitwick nodded and said, it was really troublesome for him to hold the triangular stool as tall as him.

"It's nothing." Hera pursed her lips and whispered, and they had already passed through the auditorium to the foyer.

Standing in the hall, Hera and Professor Flitwick stood behind the gate, quietly waiting for Hagrid's arrival.

Boom boom boom!
Three dull beeps sounded.

Professor Flitwick waved his wand, and the door opened instantly. Hagrid stood in front of the door, and under the steps behind him, there were a bunch of little ghost heads who were only a little taller than Flitwick.

"These kids are so good-looking, they're taller than me at just 11 years old."

Hera heard Flitwick whisper to him, and curled her lips indifferently.

"First year, Professor Flitwick, Hera," said Hagrid.

"Oh, thank you, thank you for your hard work, go in and warm up, the weather today is really bad. Let us pick you up when you get here." Flitwick patted Hagrid's calf lightly.

"Come up, freshmen," Flitwick called, and the freshmen followed him along the stone-paved floor.

Hera followed Flitwick, and together they led the first-years to a small empty room at the other end of the hall. They swarmed in, rubbing shoulders and huddling together, staring nervously at everything around them.

"Oh, it's really nostalgic. We came to Hogwarts for the first time like this. It's been so many years." Flitwick shook his head and said with emotion.

"Yeah, it's been so many years in a flash, and I'm already a teacher. It's really a blessing to be able to stay in Hogwarts after graduation." Hera couldn't deny it.

"Okay, Hera, we need to maintain the majesty of some professors." Flitwick said quickly, and then he cleared his throat forcefully, "Ahem, welcome to Hogwarts, the start-of-term banquet is about to begin, but before you sit in the dining room, you must first confirm which house you have entered. House sorting is a very important ceremony, because when you are in school, the house is like your home in Hogwarts. Spend your spare time in the college common room."

Flitwick stopped talking here, and cast his eyes on Hera, the meaning was obvious - he couldn't let him talk all by himself.

Hera thought for a while, and slowly said:

"The names of the four houses are: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has its own glorious history and has produced outstanding wizards. During your studies at Hogwarts, your outstanding performance will earn your house points, and any violations will make your house lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the highest score will be awarded the house cup, which is a very high honor."

Hera tried her best to keep her evaluation objective. He tried his best not to take out his bad mood towards Harry on the freshmen. Merlin knew how much he wished that the stupid lion of Gryffindor would make less trouble.

Well, it looked like his wish had come to nothing when he saw that worrying red hair in the newborn, another Weasley!

Damn it, what are the Weasleys doing with so many children?
"Thank you, Hera. In a few minutes, the sorting ceremony will be held in front of all the teachers and students of the school. I suggest that you tidy up yourselves and be more energetic while waiting," said Professor Flitwick.

When Flitwick was speaking, Hera kept looking at the crowd, and finally he breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that there was only one Weasley this year, and she was still a girl. I hope she can be smarter than her brothers.

"We'll have the Sorting Ceremony when that's ready," said Professor Flitwick. "Please, Hera."

"No problem, Professor." Hera nodded, he left the room, went back to the auditorium, saw that Dumbledore had appeared in his place, and then returned to the room.

It's just that when he came back, he was almost confused by the scene in front of him.

Professor Flitwick stood in front, telling the students anecdotes about the school.Nearby there were about twenty other ghosts, pearly white, translucent ones, they added.

"Ahem, Professor Flitwick, I think the Great Hall is ready."

"Oh, it seems our small talk can only go so far today," said Flitwick. "There are still days to come. Now, stand in a single file and follow me."

"Yes, Professor."

They followed Flitwick and Hera, walked out of the room, walked through the foyer, and entered the luxurious auditorium through a double door at the back.

Hera gently placed a triangular stool in front of the first-year students, and then put the sorting hat on it, but his movements seemed a little rough, and the sorting hat complained dissatisfiedly: "Hera, you should be more polite, I am an ancient wizard hat that has been responsible for sorting tasks since Hogwarts was founded."

"Okay, Mr. Sorting Hat, hurry up and sing, I really can't wait to go back to sleep."

"What a rough fellow," said the Sorting Hat, but it still wriggled and began to sing:
"a long long time ago,

I still have a new hat,

Hogwarts hadn't been built yet,

The noble school had four founders,
"
